An MECH MPhil student, Miss Sandy LIN Xiuyi, is honoured to become the receipient of the Best Paper Award (First Prize) at the 15th European Conference on Composite Materials which was held on 24-28 June 2012, Venice-Italy for the paper entitled "Effects of reduction and size of graphene on mechanical and electrical properties of graphene oxide papers" which was co-authored by XY Lin, QB Zheng, N. Yousefi, X. Shen and JK Kim.
